KVC Ground Rules

 

* Tobacco, alcoholic beverages, and illegal drugs are not permitted on grounds, dining hall, meeting rooms, cottages, or any other buildings.

* Cottages and Tabernacle available for use May 1st through September 30th

* Quite Hours: 11pm – 7am, anyone under the age of 18 must be at camp site during this time or accompanied by an adult.  Work hours: 8am – 9pm

* Excessive noise, profanity, or visible intoxication will not be tolerated at any time.

* Pet rules

   o Never leave animals unattended, including in vehicles.

   o Short leash at all times

   o Cleaned up after

   o Not permitted in Dinning hall, bathrooms or tabernacle at any time, without written proof that an animal is a service dog and currently in service filed with the camp secretary or assigned representative

   o Up to date health records and licenses

   o Must be keep quiet at all times

   o Owners are responsible for any injuries incurred by any of their pets

   o No vicious breeds permitted

* No travel trailers are permitted to be left on camp grounds

   o Unless there is a written lease or rental agreement between camp and owner

   o All must be current licensed, titles, plates, registration and documentation given to camp secretary or assigned representative on a yearly basis

* All fires must be contained in a ring, no open fires will be permitted.  No unattended fires, all fires must be extinguished before leaving.  No garbage, furniture, auto parts and/or building materials or other hazardous materials in fires. Exceptions may be made with approval from building and grounds and/or caretaker.

* Please place all trash and garbage in plastic bags and place them in the dumpster provided.  If dumpster is full or your item is too large for the dumpster, disposing of it is your responsibility.  You are responsible for hauling away and proper disposal of your own construction materials.  Please do not leave any garbage on top of or surrounding dumpster. 

* Drive Slowly….Speed Limit 5mph and one way

* Parked cars must be completely off roadway. 

* Vehicles must be looking for bikers, because they may not see you.

* Bike rules

   o Bikes parked at dusk

   o Off roadway when not in use in designated locations

   o Helmet laws must be followed

   o Bikers should follow all road signs

   o Bikers must yield to cars and people

* Playground rules – All visitors must obey all playground rules

* No defacing or cutting of any camp trees or camp property.

* Any improvements and/or changes to camp property including but not limited to painting must be preapproved by BOA.

* All visitors and guests are responsible to provide their own insurance coverage.  No liability is assumed by Kiski Valley Free Methodist Camp.
